Fall 2024 Media Studies TA and Reader Positions
Please see the open Media Studies Teaching Assistant (TA) and Reader positions listed below. All positions are pending budgetary approval.
TA positions are typically 50% appointments for teaching two sections. Reader positions are 25% variable appointments, with final percentage pending course enrollment on Friday of third week. Readers are paid $19.53 an hour and are hired at 25% variable time, which is equivalent to a total of 170 hours for the semester. Total work hours will be finalized based on enrollments and will be adjusted accordingly.
Applications from individuals with and without past teaching experience are welcome. Finalists in the application process may be asked for copies of their teaching evaluations, if applicable.
